Nesans CI Series Double Roller Crushers are unique Quaternary stage crushers designed for ultra-fine reduction required for plastering purpose manufactured sand. Furthermore, Efficient torque sharing between the rolls and frequency controlled drive mechanisms allow for better cubical shaping of the product. As a result, higher operating pressure creates suitable environment for achieving good reduction ratios.
ACHIEVE ULTRA-FINE ZONE 4 M-SAND FOR PLASTERING WITH NESANS SMOOTH ROLL CRUSHER.
Nesans CI Series Smooth Roll Crushers are high performance, quaternary stage crushers used for reduction of feed size from 5mm down to 1mm or below.
Furthermore, CI Series Smooth Roll Crushers are developed with the ever growing demand for zone 4 M-Sand used in plastering purpose. Equipped with two rolls with smooth surface finish and optimal diameter and width, our smooth Roll Crushers gives better crush angle in the feed opening.
Consequently, the ideal velocity of the rolls and the force applied over the feed material guarantees a tender grinding process with less wear and tear possible.
HOW CI SERIES SMOOTH ROLL CRUSHER WORK?
Feed Material in its dry form is fed into the input chute of the crusher constructed along the width of the drums. Crushing in smooth roll crusher takes place by both sledging and impact action. The drums which are run at an optimal speed and at opposite directions are mounted on heavy duty bearing capable of effectively handling the load. Moreover, the roll assembly is housed inside a heavy fabricated steel body which also comprises of a wear-resistant plates attached to the input chute.
The material is fed at a uniform rate along the total width of the drums. The nip angle is the important parameter here for the crushing to take place. The nip angle of the feed material is further dependent on the coefficient of internal friction of the material which is essential for the material to pass through the drums and get crushed.
Hence, when ultra-fine M-sand of very fine grade is required, the setting (gap between the two drums) is to be made as small as possible up to 2mm. One of the two drums is fixed whereas the another one is floating. The floating drum is attached to a spring which moved front and back and gives necessary cushion when oversize material passes through the drums.
Once the material passes, its size is reduced to approximately 85% of the setting.
Can bigger feed sizes be fed into roller crusher ?
Double smooth roller crushers are primarily quaternary stage crushers and it is ideal to feed sizes below 20mm into roller crushers. But smaller capacity crushers such as 50TPH cannot take sizes more than 12mm.
What if my feed is very sticky or moist
Sticky and moist feed are not appreciated to be fed into roller crusher. Moist feed tend to blind the crusher as they may stick onto the crushing rolls. High pressure water nozzles aimed at the diameter of the crushing rolls can help solve the purpose.
Which Crusher is better for Producing M Sand ?
The better crushers for producing M Sand or Plastering Sand (P Sand) in decreasing order of precedence are
What is the reduction ratio possible with Roller Crusher ?
Roller Crushers can give reduction ratio as high as 1 : 6. They are compression type of crushers and can handle hard and abrasive materials. But the reduction in maximum feed size due to decreased crushing chamber adds to their disadvantage.
